General information about recruitment

A competition within the additional pool of places in recruitment to the Doctoral School of Exact and Natural Sciences in the discipline: physical sciences is associated with the implementation of the research project: „Quantum engineering of novel ultracold complex molecular systems: from diatomic to polyatomic molecules”

The aim of the project is to propose and theoretically investigate new ways of producing, controlling, and manipulating ultracold complex molecules including both diatomics in non-trivial electronic states and polyatomic molecules. The selected candidate will use the methods of electronic structure theory and quantum scattering theory.

Conditions for the candidate

  • M.Sc. degree in physics or related field.
  • Interest in the subject, motivation to scientific work and wish to complete Ph.D. thesis in physics in our group in 4 years.
  • Knowledge of quantum mechanics and experience in programming.
